“Kyoto Environmental Nanotechnology Cluster” was established in Kyoto and Keihanna. Due to the economic slowdown in Japan and urgent needs to address global environmental problems, expectations on science and technology are currently providing us with not only positive hopes as before, but also continued new challenges to cope with today’s difficult conditions.
