Before requesting the test

Prior to requesting Conformance Test, ETG members who apply the test are suggested to read carefully Conformance Guide and Conformance Test Policy, published by ETG, which contain valuable information to be known of the test and about things to be prepared.

Submit Test Request Form

ETG members who request Conformance Test first needs to download Test Request Form from Conformance Documents page of ETG Website.

The applicant has to send Test Request Form to the conformance group of ETG after filled out all of requested information.
Upon arrival of the form, ETG registers the test request to start the procedures.

ETG forwards the request form, with Test No. assigned, to an ETC specified in the request form.

Conformance Test Contract

After receiving Test Request Form forwarded from ETG, ETC-J contacts with the applicant to adjust the test schedule.

ETC-J will send Conformance Test Contract and Device Check List.

Upon receiving Test Contract back, ETC-J sends Invoice of Conformance Test fee.

ETC-J will start Conformance Test after Test fee is confirmed.

Preparation for Conformance Test

According to Device Check List, the applicant has to send all of required materials, data files and documents to arrive at ETC-J no later than the day before the scheduled day for Conformance Test.

• CTP results (ctp file and “TestReports” folder)
• ESI file
• DuT’s user manual* (if electronic file such as PDF)

Parcel Delivery or Carry-in

• Device Check List (printed)
• DuT
• Cables and accessories (if necessary)
• DuT’s user manual* (printed)

* One of the above user manual is necessary.

ETC-J may charge the applicant for extra hours in case the test is not able to start due to delay or missing part of required materials and information.

For the day of Conformance Test

If desired, ETC-J arranges time to start implementing Conformance Test in case with engineers attended.

In case without engineers attended, ETC-J normally starts implementing Conformance Test at 9:00 am.

Contact Person has to be available at the Phone Number indicated in Conformance Test Contract during the test so that ETC-J can get online with the person in case needed.

ETC-J may charge for extra hours in case the test can not continue due to the situation Contact Person is not available at Phone Number indicated in Conformance Test Contract.

Judgment of Conformance Test

All of the test results are documented in Test Record provided by ETG and measured either Pass or Fail.

ETC-J delivers Test Record to Contact Person of the applicant after completion of the test.

ETC-J reports Test Record to ETG as soon as payment of the test fee is confirmed.

ETG approves Test Record reported by ETC after validated.
ETG officially sends the applicant written Certificate for the product with Pass as Conformance Test result.
